CAMP AT HOLCOMB FARM

   February Vacation Camp 2010: February 15 - 19   

Spend the days making snow angels and snowmen or jams and preserves or planning spring gardens and designing compost piles.  Snowshoe over pastures and through the woods, look for animal tracks, build your own sled and try it out on one of the farm hills -- there is just so much to do and learn!

April Vacation Camp 2010:  April 19 - 23

In the spring, help us plant our gardens -- vegetable, fiber & dye and Three Sisters.  Learn how plants grow, make maple syrup, visit the vernal pool and hike our trails as the season bursts into bloom!

Summer 2010: June 28 - August 13 

Imagine a summer filled with digging in the dirt, splashing through streams and playing in fields and meadows, or helping to plant and harvest vegetables, working with farm animals, or baking bread in the wood-fired, beehive oven.  Make kites, build animal enclosures, feed the sheep, hunt for crawfish, play games -- learn all about life on the farm and have tons of fun!
