Scout Programs
2008 Spring Scout Days are almost here! March 29 Girl Scouts Brownies "Water Everywhere Try It" Juniors "Invasive Plants Badge" April 5 Cub Scouts Bears "Take Care of Your Planet" Wolves "Native American Lore" Webelos "Forester Badge" After completing the badges listed above at Holcomb Farm, scouts will get on a bus and travel five minutes down the road to McLean Game Refuge to participate in their Youth Day event. At this new event, 4H students will lead the scouts in a number of activities to earn a custom McLean patch. Activities include a hike and a play. Snacks will be provided; however, scouts should bring a bagged lunch for this event. Parents will drop their scouts off at Holcomb Farm and pick them up at 3:15pm at the back entrance of McLeans on Barn Door Hills Rd. See schedule below for more details. Day Of: Sign in 9:00am - 9:25am Program at Holcomb Farm 9:30am - noon Bus Transport From Farm to McLean McLean Youth Day 12:15pm - 3:15pm (including lunch) Space is limited and will be granted on a first come first serve basis.
