Join the fun at the Granby Family Contra Dance, held at the South Congregational Church Parish Hall, 242 Salmon Brook Street (Rte. 10), Granby, CT. Parking is behind the church, dances are taught and called by Jim Gregory. Live music by Heart's Ease, playing popular tunes of Colonial America, Ireland, Scotland and England. ARTIST'S OPEN STUDIO
Mondays 9 am - 12:30 pm
Area painters are invited to bring their own artwork to our drop-in art sessions. Our large room has many windows allowing natural lighting and long tables to accomodate multiple painters. Find encouragement, inspiration and group critiques for your artwork by working with others with similar interests. $5 donation to benefit Holcomb Farm.
4H CLUB OF GRANBY

FEBRUARY VACATION CAMP
Monday February 15-Friday February 19 9:00 am -3:00 pm
It's winter time and we have lots to do here at the Farm to get ready for Spring! Come join us for a week filled with fun farm activities for children in Grades 1-6. Each day will feature a different theme from baking bread to making compost to building your own sled (snow allowing). Meet our animals and help us build new enclosures for our baby chicks and our bunny, plant indoor herb gardens, weave baskets, make pickles, dye wool and learn felting. Of course, we will spend plenty of time outside playing games, building snowmen and exploring the pastures and fields! $200 members/$220 non-members. HEALTHY LIVING SERIES #2: MOVING THROUGH THE AGES
Friday, February 26, 2010, 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Join integrative health professionals, Joan Palmer, Kate Taylor and Mary Ellen Mullins, for 45 minutes of yoga for joint health. Then enjoy a light dinner and a 2 hour discussion on joint health, problems with inflammation and how to support joints through diet and exercise.
Program runs 6:30pm - 9:30pm. All levels of health and fitness welcome.
$50 per class or $85 for the last two. Pre-registration is requested as space is limited.

HOLCOMB FARM BOOK CLUB
