Holcomb Farm Hayloft Harvest Dinner

Please join Holcomb Farm on Saturday September 25, 2010 for a fundraiser to support our Fresh Access program.    

The Fresh Access program grows fresh, nutritious vegetables and distributes them to deserving populations through social service agencies in Hartford and Granby.  For over 16 years, Fresh Access has grown and distributed between 15,000 and 30,000 pounds of vegetables annually to these agencies, who in turn distribute the fresh produce to residents who lack

access to fresh, healthy food.  The Hayloft Harvest Dinner is a Gourmet Pig Roast featuring all sustainably grown, freshly harvested, nutritious and tasty local produce.  The evening starts with Appetizers in the Field followed by Dinner & Music by The Glue Factory in the historic Loft. Don't miss the Silent Auction.
 
The meal will showcase the local harvest, with a menu that includes vegetables from the Holcomb Farm C.S.A. prepared by Chef Chris Prosperi of Metro Bis Restaurant, pork from Eagle Wood Farms in Barkhamsted, CT, and cheeses from

throughout Connecticut. The event is B.Y.O.B.   Our Silent Auction will be feature local merchandise, beneficial services and exciting trips for your enjoyment and to benefit our Fresh Access recipients.
